This is a fun game, but the arctic theme gives it a yetisports feel, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but could be percieved as a ripoff. The walrus jumps any time you click the screen, not just when toggling sound, I don't know if that's a bug or if you intentionally did that. Overall fun game.
I could easily get addicted to this game
If it were longer. I had a lot of fun though. Some sound would be a nice addition too. Good work overall.
I love this type of game, and you did this one perfectly. I really wish I could say something more but that about sums it up. Thanks.
Thanks for the great review (and the first). I also noticed you added the game to faves. Thanks :D
Love the video game concept
I like the change up from the movies, I just wish there were more pics this time out. Some of the pics are a little buggy too. I noticed if you have 7 out of 8 differances found and you click near one of the ones you already found, it will sometimes register and advance to the next pic.
Once again, excellent choice of music and I liked the addition of the leader board too. The only reason I scored it a little low on some points was because I really felt it was too short, but I did have fun with it yet again. Hope you keep churning them out.
Thanks for the review! Yeah, I was conceptualizing the game out and thinking to myself "I'm probably going to end up using a bunch of the same movies as the last two years," so I decided to switch it up to video games this year.
The original spec was to have 8 pictures, but it was just not possible in order to get it out today. Maybe I'll re-release it next week with the 2 extra pics. It made it easier to deal with since there is an extra 1 difference on Treat Mode and an extra 2 differences on Trick Mode per snapshot than last year.
Thanks again for the review and Happy Halloween!
Better than the first
I liked the first one, and this one is a marked improvement, but there's just a couple of things I'd like to see if you're planning on making another this year.
For starters, a replay button on hard mode. It's really frustrating to have to sit through the credits or close and re open the game every time you lose. Maybe after failure on hard mode, you could retry from the same pic with the same time, or a small time penalty to prevent castrating the game's difficulty?
One thing that you took out from the last game were the hints, which maybe after failing at a picture a few times, you should have the option to view (I'm hoplessly stuck on the American Psycho pic, I can only find 5 differences)
One other thing is that the little twirly designs on the frame you use overlaps the pics in the top corners. I found that to be a distraction from searching for differences.
I don't know, just a couple of suggestions. I hope you're doing another.
Good feedback. I am doing a third iteration, I just hope to get it done in time. Stay tuned.
Please fix the save feature
Other than that, this game is awesome.
This was really fun, but too short. I especially enjoyed the eerie music. Good job with the D&D rules and dice system.
Good, but buggy
I had a few problems pinpointing where I should click on the units to attack them. This becomes increasingly annoying in the higher levels where there are tons of enemies on screen. Also there were a couple of times where there was only oe enmy left on screen and no matter what I did I couldn't kill it.
Other than those two problems, I think this is a solid flash, much improved over others in this genre.
Awesome game, I especially liked that I could program my own tunes into the game. Keep up the good work.
You need to finish it
I would have given a much better score if it was complete. Instead I got drawn in and left hanging. Finish this flash and you'll make a lot of people happy.
